Having to up it!

Quote  |  Reply

So i have been eating alot more lately, i have been sure to get around 2300 a day because that is where my nutritionalist said would be a good place. My last appointment with her though my weight appartently went down since the last time i saw her! She told me to up my calories to about 3000!! This scares the buh-jesus out of me!

Would it be possible for some to pass a little motivation/food ideas my way for this? Just a kind word or two would do some wonders for me right now.

I think it's great news!  It means your metabolism must be getting better!!  You're on your way to a healthier, stronger you.

I am right there with you--I ate a ton today (and am eating now!), and am getting a wonderful "refeeder's tummy", plus I am now over 100 lbs, which is a BIG block in my mind. However, we both have got to get past the numbers--I try to think of each bite, each meal, each fear food I eat as a punch in "ED's" stomach ;p

Numbers are a big downfall for me, especially large ones! Is there any way you could get your nutritionist to make an "exchange plan" for your diet: i.e., instead of actually counting the cals, you would eat 12 starches, 8 fats, etc--she could give you correct portion sizes.

Best wishes--we can all do this!!! Hang in there!!!
