I don't understand my body at all and I am so close to giving in and eating all the things I want to because clearly nothing works for me. I work out 3 times a week and eat sensibly and always stay under my 1700 for the day but not dramatically under! I have tried every combination of foods I can think of and still my weight is being extremely temperamental.

2 days ago I weighed in at 149 and was v.pleased with myself to finally see some progress. The next say I was suddenly 150! through no change in what I was doing and ate nothing naughty! the next day... 151!! What is going on?

I have a thyroid problem so I am aware this makes things difficult for me but honestly, what can I do to solve this problem. Oh and before anyone says anything I have lost NO inches, from ANYWHERE!!! Help!! :(

You don't say for ho long you work out, try  working out for 5 days and if you can 2ice a day.

It can vary between 30 mins and an hour but I always make sure I'm out of breath and can't do any more and it tends to be either running or aerobics.

Give it more time.  It's been two days - those two pounds could be water, poop, who knows what.

My weight does that always - one day it is down, then for the next two or three it's up again, then it suddenly goes down.

Try weiging only once a week.  I know it's hard, but it helps mentally!

Just keep doing all of the right things, in a few days you will see the weight going down again.

I completely understand where you are coming from....that is my life so far as well I yo-yo in the 150 range.  I excercise EVERYDAY!  I eat right....all A graded by CC.  I stay in the zone of what they want me to eat.  What I have learned is GIVE IT TIME!  I have spoken to several people now through CC and everyone has somewhat a similar story.  I think we all want instant results...it is just not that easy or we wouldn't need this program and we all would be thin.  I agree with Dawnprado, she gave you some sound advice....get rid of the scale, put it away bring it out maybe every 10 days!  Work on a life style change for a healthier lifestyle with your food intake and excercise.  I bet money if you do this in 10 days you will be in a better state.....I PROMISE!  Stress can make us hold our weight as well....and you are WAY to stressed out over the number on the scale....PUT IT AWAY!

pro tip: stop thinking and just LIVE fitness.  you'll get the results and you won't get the headache.

daily fluctuations in weight are natural so don't weigh yourself everyday. try weighing yourself like once every week or week and a half. then see if your weight changes.

trust me looking at the scale everyday does you no good :)

Everyone is right s far, you do need to gve it more time and not look at the scale anymore, but I know how you feel. I was diagnosed with thyroid problems at the age of 7, and ten years later, I still hate the fluctuations. Right around puberty, I gained 50 pounds over 2 years, and it killed me. What I've learned now is that numbers don't matter. I weighed a whopping 195, but I FELT great about myself, and that's what makes the difference. Now, I'm not trying to get super thin, I just want to run, to play sports, to not get winded playing tag with my nephews. Don't make goals like "I want to loose 15 pounds" make goals like "I want to run a mile in under 8 minutes". Don't focus on loosing weight, focus on getting healthy.  Once you do, the pounds will drop.

If you need smeone to talk to, I'm here, I KNOW what it feels like to have your weight pogo around from day to day, and I could use a buddy too. :D

Can we make it a sticky "IT IS NATURAL FOR WEIGHT TO FLACTUATE DUE TO WATER RETENTION, or UNDIGESTED FOOD"

Thanks miss_red. Yeah I suppose it was the rather quick gain because of the thyroid so i freak out and watch the scale because i wasnt doing it before and look at what happened! I never was overweight before and I ate relatively healthy and did moderate exercise and suddenly because of my thyroid I ballooned a stone and a half in just about 2 months. Now I feel like my older self in a fatter suit. Healthier and better for the meds but cant run up a flight of stairs without getting out of puff. So yeah wud love to have a buddy to chat to :D

Don't weigh yourself so often. I was weighing myself every day when I first started which really depressed me. Now I weigh myself about once or twice every week :)

Also are you always using the same scales and was the floor level?
