Up 3 pounds after 30 min of cardio
After 30 min of cardio I was sweating a lot so I went to towel off and I got on the scale. I kno you dont lose 5 pounds with one workout. I am just obsessed with going on the scale ever since i gained 16 pounds..
Anyways, my question is how is it possible to be up 3 pounds after exercising?

I'm mean, really, why would you weigh yourself after a workout? No matter what the number was, it's going to be faulty. Weighing yourself day in and day out is going to give you a whole mass of different numbers, none of them being true. That's why people weigh only ONE TIME in the morning, and people who can't deal with those numbers only do it ONCE A WEEK. Nothing drastic will happen in a day, so I'll bet my bottom dollar nothing happened in 30 minutes.
I mean, were you munching away at 10500 calories while running to get up to that weight? I doubt it. It's probably water retention from working out. Even if it had gone down 5 pounds, after eating and drinking, it would of gone up to something higher. If you keep weighing yourself 24/7, you won't have any good numbers to follow
Now get off the scale!
P.S. 16 pounds, while going up, isn't a life or death situation, so relax. It's good that you're keeping yourself in check, but you shouldn't have a scale in your pocket. Just work out and count calories and it'll come off, but weighing every five minutes is just silly.
I need to take this scale and hide it lol. I noted on my calendar every sunday to weigh in. I hope i can stick to that. Thanks for the reply!

I weigh myself after I walk on the tread-mill..it is like a habit..and the thing is..I find that I weigh like a pound less than when I weighed myself before the work-out..I guess the water-weight gets off of me after I sweat so much
