I'm going to see Smashing Pumpkins w/ Explosions in the Sky on Nov 5 at the Ryman Theatre in Nashville, TN.

What shows are you guys going to see in the near future? 

Possibly Arch Enemy with Machinehead on Friday.  AkA Tomorrow.

OH I love Keith Sweat, or at least the few songs of his that I know lol

i wanted to see josh ritter 2 nights ago at my favorite local venue, but i missed the show....too much work to do.

i'm pretty pumped for this show though --> graham nash, david crosby, jackson browne, keb' mo', krishna das, emily saliers, john hall, and the dalai lama.

I'm seeing Tori on Saturday with my best friend.  It's gonna be fantastic!  :-D

Explosions in the Sky is a big favorite of my husbands. To me it's a lot like what I'd envision a coma put to music would be like.

LOVE Tool.  Their live shows are amazing.

Im looking forward to Muse being in concert somewhere near me. They are one of my fav bands - I saw them in APril, but as an opening band...

Muse puts on an incredible live show!! They backfilled a headlining spot at Austin City Limits Music Festival last month when The White Stripes cancelled and Muse positively destroyed. More psychedelic than I expected, huge sound, incredible solos showcasing some extraordinary musical talent,... excellent. see them.

I've seen Tool live once and it was amazing - I was 3rd row in a tiny college concert hall. I'm afraid that seeing them in a big arena will pale in comparison. But I suppose even a weak Tool show is still a Tool show...

We saw Tool back in August. Great show!

Brandi Carlile in two weeks, maybe less if I find a ride to the show on the 24th. She and her band are amazing!

magnolia fest in suwannee, fl next weekend.
a weekend of excellent bluegrass music, camping, dips in the Suwannee River, drum circles, and lots of good old fashioned hippie love. 
Too bad I'll be at home while all my friends are there.  Being poor sux.
