Updated museum in T.O

Has anyone been to the Royal Ontario Museum since the new addition has been open? I went on Saturday I have to say I am very disappointed in it. They added the glass portion to it (which was very expensive) and b/c of the new edition they now have big empty spaces all over the museum. I think the museum was fine before and it was a beautiful building. In my opinion what they should have done with the money was invest in new artifacts for existing exhibitions or invest in new exhibitions. Even since I was little they have had the 1 same mummy.

I understand artifacts are hard to come by and need to be shared by museums all over the world, so maybe they could create more hands on stuff especially for the kids. There is one section where you can touch a beaver fur, a snake skin and a turtle shell. There much more interesting things kids (and adults) would like to touch, things that they dont come by very often. Im just disappointed that they expanded the museum when it didnt need to be. Now it seems empty and incomplete like the museum is not up to par. 

I went Friday to see the fossils, I'd never been before..

I haven't been to.. the Royal Ontario Museum in.. 10 years. I should fix that one day...
