Upstate SC, type 2

New to this site, figured iI'd drop a post here... not sure how active this one is, but it's all good.

I'm 28, married, 2 kids, got about 100 pounds to lose and have been type 2 diabetic for a few years. Due to insurance issues, I haven't taken any medication for 18 months, but will start again Oct. 1st.

I will be taking Byetta 2x/day to start. Nov 1 I will probably be taking insuline 1x/day.

Nobody is quite sure why my body is reacting so badly with insulin, but all have said even at a perfect weight I'll still probably need a small amount of insulin.

My most recent 2 hr glucose had a fasting of about 160 and a 2 hour of 323.

I don't know what else to say :D Hopefully I can make some friends with you all!
