URGENT fast weight loss needed

ok..found an old love...before I try to re-connect i want to lose some weight fast!!!

How do I do it? Im looking at 40 pounds needing to be lost

I don't think your going to get much of a response as this site does not promote "fast" weight loss.  Use the tools and take it one day at a time.  It'll come, maybe not as fast as you want but it will come.

 

Agreeing with post #1, and to add...

Losing weight fast will not make you look as good as you think it will.  Malnourishment, overexercise, and fad diets/scams will do awful things to your appearance.

How about making yourself look the best you can right now.  Find the right outfit for your body type, one that accentuates the great things about you.  Find the right color, the right cut, the right material - it will do wonders.  Heck, with a little help from undergarments (like spanx) you can add a little confidence and control.

Get a facial, wear the make up that looks best on you, jazz up your hair a little bit (brush on highlights from the drugstore are great, and they're cheap).

And most of all, stay healthy, and be confident in who you are.

Fast weight loss can come back tenfold so be warned.  Honestly, if you're drinking sodas and juices ditch them for water or tea with Nothing in it.  I moderate everything so I might use splenda in mine, have a glass of iced tea (community coffee brand diet) or a glass of crystal light if I need something other then water.  I put lemon in my water though and that's usually enough.

Exercise.  If you're not doing any then start by taking a walk.  If you don't have time, park further out at the store or work. 

Trying to over exercise will get you hurt and set you back more.  Starving yourself won't do anything.  Make sure you're getting enough sleep and getting in the right calories otherwise you'll end up getting more frustrated. 

If you're already doing exercise, find ways to push yourself a little more. 

But in all honestly, don't try any of the fads out there.  They just simply aren't worth the time or frustration.

There is a very fast way to lose weight, no one on here will condone it because it;s not healthy blah blah blah but it works, and it works almost straightaway -  what you do is, you chop a leg off. Other than that, forget it.

it's going to take you 5 or 6 months to lose 40lbs unless you try the "cut off you leg" diet....if you do can you post before and after pics?

If you want fast weight loss, I would suggest drinking lots and lots of water. But 40lbs is going to take a while, it took me a year to drop a simple 20lbs and that is with eating healthy and exercise 3-4 days a week for 90 minutes and 2hr work outs one day on the weekend.   

I've started my lifestyle change (cause really thats what it is) on Dec 28th and to date I've lost 24 lbs. I'm 5'8 and am now 185.This has taken alot of dedication and hard work. Though I have an additional 35 lbs I want to lose I don't think I could have lost more than 3lbs doing this for anyone other than myself. I think that if you're simply losing weight for some guy, you won't stick this out. I wish you all the best just the same
