How do you use your calories throughout the day?

I am curious about how everyone spends their daily calorie allowance - do you eat the same amount for each meal, more for breakfast, lunch or dinner? And, is there a right and wrong way to divide them up during the day?

typically, I have eat about 300 calories for breakfast, 300 for lunch and save the rest for dinner and a snack.

I'm all over the place. There's no structure other than i usually eat 900-1200 before dinner and have 700-500 for dinner.

okay, so no there's no right or wrong way to divide your calories...i LOVE TO EAT...so i have small meals that equal about 1900 calories a day...divided into 7 or 8 mini meals...today the calorie counts were about...

B: 320 or so [9:30]

S: 200 [1:00]

L1: 370 [3:00]

L2: 260 [5:00]

S: 230 [7:00]

D: 310 [8:30]

S: 210 [9:30]

So, i'd say I eat more calories in the AM than the PM because I get progressively hungrier so my meals get less spaced out but that's just what works for me. everyone is different :)

I like to have either a very big breakfast and decent lunch, or the other way around. Dinner is very light for me.

If I am particularly active I`ll also have a light pre or post workout snack (or both). But generally I avoid snacks, as they often tend to turn into meals.

So I basically get ~80% of my cals before evening time, and then eat a dinner just large enough to avoid going to bed with a rambling tummy.

On most days I get a little under half of my calories by after lunch.  My breakfast is usually smallest...250-400 cal depending on the cereal I eat and whether I have a piece of fruit (and what that fruit is).  My lunches are bigger...350-550 cal depending on what I have. Usually I have a sandwich, a fruit and/or yogurt, and sometimes chips.  Dinner is my biggest meal.  I eat it with my family, it's famiy time so I plan to share it all with them.  That usually gets me all the way to my caloric goal (1800) sometimes a little under.

I tend to eat about 1000-1200 calories before dinner (how many meals/snacks that's spread over depends on what time I got up and how busy I am; it's usually 3-5 meals/snacks), about 500 calories for dinner (maybe 700 if eating at someone else's house) then I may have 200-300 calories of snack in the evening (it'll be on the high end of that if I do strength training followed by a protein shake).

as a topical lotion for under eye dark circles, works great.

L:300 cal

Snack

D: 300-450 cal

Then lots of snacks (I think I officially bought everything at the grocery store that comes in 100 calorie packs and everything that is under a hundred calories ie. oranges, sugar free jello lol)

I work graveyards so I start with lunch. I don't know if I'm doing it "right" or if there is a right or wrong way to spread out calories.

I vary a lot. I do things "backwards", meaning dinner is my biggest meal and breakfast is the lightest. And I like to snack... a lot. haha My snacks probably equal 75% of my daily intake.
