I'm 5'2" and about 128-130 lbs, I'm aiming for 115. this isn't a huge long weightloss goal but i serverely suck at this whole lifestyle change thing

i workout daily, thats no problem, its just the eating. i binge.... horribly

i eat so much that i either maintain my weight or gain Cry Sealed like today i caved and bought 2 mini packs of mini eggs, a big oatmeal cookie, a mini tub of gummy cokes and had so much bread i feel sick, and i always end up doing this everyday!!!

ANYONE have any tips or advice that could help keep me motivated throughout the day or something to keep me occupied when home?

i work out first thing in the morning, then go to school and i get home at about 330 and dinners not until 6 and after dinner im fine but between 330 and 6 i MESS UP HORRIBLY!!!!

help,, i really want to reach my goal :(

OMG - on the way home and before dinner are HORRIBLE for me too!  I hit the house and head staright for the pantry!

I have managed to change this habit - so there is hope!  If I can do it - anyone can!

Now, before I leave work to go home I'll have some fruit - an apple, pear, banana - to stave of the tummy grumbles.

And I have made myself get "snack" stuff out ahead of time for when I get home - baby carrots, or I'll leave grapes in a bowl on the counter, or chop up some celery sticks - something easy to see and easy to grab when I walk in the door or while I'm getting dinner together.

Also, I've made myself a stash at work to keep the mid-day munchies at bay and give myself better choices but still snack.  I keep the 100 calorie packs of popcorn, cheese nips, quaker mini bites, and Kashi cereal.

Changing your habits won't happen overnight, it's a step at a time.  You'll get the hang of it!

3:30 to dinner is my "weak time" too.

I set aside a "snack stash" to eat at this time that I have included in my daily calorie count.  (it's when I eat my daily chocolate allowance).

Water!  I drink a lot of water (3-4 glasses) at this time too.
hello, you get home a 15.30 and dinner is at 18.00? that's 2.5 hours

Besides eat do you do anything else? watch TV?

do you have to go home for 15.30? You say you're at school, is there a library where you could work?

how about limiting the amount of cash you have with you at this time? so you can't buy cookies?

It seems to me you've developed a habit at this time, so it might help to do something different? Maybe a small work out, or yoga? These are all just ideas, let me know what you think?

Hi!  I'm in the exact same place - 5'2" and 130-128 pounds!  and wanting to get down to 115!  Want to talk and encourage each other?  I am kind of hitting a plateu, and I want sooooo badly to be down to 115 by late spring.  Is loosing 15 pounds in 2 months unhealthy?  Thank you so much for this post!

Hi! I'm not anywhere near ur stats, ur a little bitty thing but I have my munchie times after lunch too. Seems like about 2:30 or so until I eat dinner, and then I sometimes want a snack after dinner just cuz.

What I find helps me on those days where I just can't help but eat compulsively, is to just stop myself and say "hey, you're going to eat like crazy until your satisfied and you know it so just do as little damage as possible and let it go"... Usually I will drink a TON of water or Crystal Light to help keep real full and pop the sugar free lifesavers and juicy fruit gum like theres no tomorrow. But when that doesnt work...I have some subway and even get a cookie, that way I'm full and yet I've had something delicious that I dont normally allow myself to have. 9 times out of 10 I feel completely satisfied. But on the worst of the worst days when I absolutely cannot contain myself and binge on crap food like a sonic cheeseburger, tots, and a shake lol, I always end up thinking "wow that really wasnt worth the calories" and the next week or so Im good to go.

I dont know if this is motivating or not. At least its a tip kind of and you know you're not alone! We'll get there together! Just remember, Slow and Steady Wins the Race. Consistency and Persistance is the key Smile
