Entry Finals... and figuring what works

I havent been exercising the past few days and eating pretty late past midnight (which affects my energy levels and bloats me up!).. ahh finals.

 

I think with my first semester as a grad student and a noob to the city i'm still stuck in my old ways that used to work for my old lifestyle. This hit me today and i realized if i was going to make my life easier in ANY way, i need to get down to some planning that works for *now*..

workouts - i used to work out every other day... this doesn't necessarily work too well here. My NEW routine is going to be exercising every day *i don't have class in the morning*. I'm going to exercise early too, which is a new concept for me since i'm more of a PM exerciser. New ways my dear Elle..

diet - i want to stick to the 3 hour diet which has worked for me when i have been focused on it. Mostly lowering my insulin and increasing my leptin.. avoid/watch my sugar intake.. take my vitamins daily. Something i havent been deligent about is my veggie intake... atleast 1 mixed veggie salad a day, + add cooked veggies as sides.

i've been walkig around on errands ALL day and i've work and chores, i've been eating well - probably too light and not too close to the 3 hour diet plan but:

 

breakfast - Fage yoghurt, black bean patty on soft wheat with thin tofutti spread and black bean salsa. Green tea with honey and ginseng

snack - didn't!

late lunch - think thin bar, veggie and barley soup with tofu blocks.

that's all so far... for dinner at 9 pm today i'm having a big salad with lots of salmon, low carb ranch dressing and mesculin greens.

I hope to finish lots of work till then..! Because of my pretty dramatic recent lovelife... newly broken up from my second fiance (right after i moved), i'm still a work in progress in terms of being more forgiving and opening myself to him and 'giving' in general. My new thing right now is to open myself to giving more each day, and being grateful about 5 things every time i remember that.. 

i'm excited about some other stuff too.. hmm. TOMORROW:

wake up early and head to the check express to get a money order right before class

buy a bigass stapler.. on the way back.

+class+ back - work on my process and print it out, possibly at home... and fake bind..

i'm also going to start going much earlier to classes since i'm doing alot of printing before class starts.. 

oh and sleep - get enough! no staying up more than 1..

 

November is a killer month, my goal is to make it with AWESOME work, an awesome time in the city, and improve my self spiritually/mentally and physically.. i'm on this till i go home for xmas! best of luck to all...
