November 5th and the news

Evidentally they don't want my husband too bad. He phoned them on Tuesday and left two types of messages, one on the phone and one on the blackberry. Still hasn't heard anything. So he tried again yesterday and left another message. His thoughts are they are trying to come up with having him work full-time as his previous boss suggested that it is a full time job. That is the positive part of it. The other part of it is maybe they feel they can do everything remotely from their corporate office.

Embarrassed, sad and crying that I got my hopes up.

Take care all. . . . .

FF Do you know what that means

You all are FANTASTIC FRIENDS! Tribulations, trials, heartache, you've been with me through it all. We haven't heard any details about the job, only an email.

There are alot of things I'd like to do but now, as I told my husband he is back to work. We did get to spend some good quality time together and for that I am glad. I am going to miss him around the house, but my hopes are I get back to the exercise routine. I've been lax.

Beauty took her medicine like a good dog this morning, She always winces as he lays her head in my hand and I try and open the eye. No one likes anyone around their eyes and what makes my precious Beauty any different

Surprised to be able to type this much. So I better go before the computer conks out again.

Take care and God Bless. Weigh in on Saturday.

News News News

Where shall I start?

Beauty has a cornea ulcer and it requires drops and oinment for the rest of her life. The cost of the vist was 175 with meds, which was reasonable for the time he spent, work he did and information he gave us. It is just progressive old age that we are dealing combating.

Now on the side of the NEWS. . . . DH got call from one of his friends at his old job and he said DH old boss resigned. Anticipating a call we never received, my husband checked his email and lo. . . . one asking him to come back part time. While this is not an ideal situation, it should be more than unemployment. His old boss also called and told my husband that he is trying to convince them it is a full time job not just 3 days a week. Let you know more later.

I just want to thank all my friends for being there and praying for all our circumstances. I am hoping that my husband finds a job before his old company closes which will be in June-August of 2010.

For now, . . . I am going to be one busy person with dog care as Beauty required full time attention on getting her drops in her eyes. Dr. Kerry said it is very painful what she is going through.

Thanks alot and God BLess.

Unplanned weigh-in

So, I decided to see where I am weight, wise today. The scale read 268.2. barely out of the 270 and to think I was in the 250's back in September! It irks me to know that has happened. But all I can do it set a goal to be at that weight in December.

Today the plans are to work on the basement, vote and then take Beauty to the vet. I can wait to hand over the money, but . . . I can't wait to see what can be done for her. Hopefully things will look up and she is just under a temporary condition with the conjuctivitis and the lipid deposit on her cornea.

Well not much else to say. I'd like to let you all know, I may not be commenting on journals, because my computer is constantly running updates and then locks up. I get frustrated to I have been walking away.

Take care and God Bless.

Late day a lot of things done and still to do

9AM was the original wake up time with a bs of 59. I treated with a P&J sandwich, sounded good with that ice cold glass of ff skim milk, For lunch I had canjun turkey and salami sandwich with american cheese. Dinner will be grilled ham and mac with mixed vegetables.

I dreamed that basement was totally organized! Hubby said, yeah that sure was a dream. Seems like we just moved clothes from one pile to the next (to be washsed). I bought a new 6 ft table to sort and lay clothes on until we get the closet put back together.

No weigh in today and Beauty goes to the eye specialist tomorrow. Lets just pray that eye drops will be all she needs. We can't afford surgery so that is out of the question. Even though they said we can make payments, I just can't fit it in our budget.

Well better get back to organizing again.

Take care and God Bless.

Time change did me some good!

My clock showed 10:30 and I got up. It was actually 9:30 and I forgot. I had no breakfast today that I remember, which shows you what lack of sleep can do. For lunch I made baked chicken with breadcrumbs and baked potato and zucchini. I worked in the basement for about a half hour and now taking a break to see what everyone is doing. I am sorting through clothes in the basement and found a size 6X so hard to believe. I must get rid of it and make room for clothes that fit me.

Things I'd like for us to accomplish today is organizing the laundry in the basement and washing the entire pile that is down there. I'd also like to do the bed sheets and comforters for both bedrooms. I already brought up another comforter.

Beauty is taking her eye drops very well and I we will be taking her to an eye specialist. I know that seems like a lot to do for a dog and with our funds low, but they are willing to take payments and our first initial visit will be 135. I spoke with the receptionist and she the office will take 50, and I will be paying them 50 dollars a month until it is paid off. Please pray that they don't recommend surgery and it is just eyedrops.

Take care all going back into the dungeon, to organize.

God Bless.

What is sleep?

Another phase again where I must take more sleeping pills. OH, how I wish this wouldn't come all the time and would lessen and become nil in the future. But that isn't how it is going to be. Another story another day.

I did't go to the diet support group because my blood sugars were 59 when I got up. And I was feeling shaky and dizzy. So, I over treated. I had a glass of OJ, a glass of ff skim milk. 4 ounces of both, and a chewy granola bar along with a regular oats and honey. It is now close to 2pm and it is now 154. I didn't give my insulin when I first got up.

So all have a great weekend. Take care, be good and God Bless.

It was a busy day today

Had some personal matters to handle. Lets just say if you are honest, things don't seem to work out. Then I went grocery shopping. The total bill was 90 dollars and I got a great deal on drumsticks. They were 88 cents a pound. So I bought 8 pounds. LOL. Hey isn't that what deep freezes are for?

Today was a good eating day, and I still have more to eat. The blood sugars have been within range. This is what I had so far today.
Breakfast:

1 chewy dipps granola chocolate chip bar, 4 ounces of milk,

lunch I had a bowl of tomato soup and 10 crackers, and a salad with cheese.

dinner we had popcorn shrimp and sauce, having yellow squash here in a few minutes and then some grapes.

Snack will have 8 crackers and 2 pieces of american cheese. Haven't logged it yet have to get into the food log.

EDIT: I did not have the cracker and cheese. I had popcorn air popped.

Sodium is sky high, but that is because of being rushed today and not pre-planning, The soup and the popcorn shrimp and crackers did it, but the blood sugars were good. So I'd say get unsalted crackers and I'll be fine. My guys here can't stand unsalted, so I guess I make a special purchase for me.
