I went to the grocery yesterday, wearing an old but favorite pair of jeans. I know they've gotten a bit loose, but......as I was walking the isles at the store I felt them slipping, no big deal just down around my hips. I was wearing a long winter coat, so not easy to stop and pull them up, and the coat was covering me. By the time I got to the check out It crossed my mind they were feeling really low, but I paid them no mind and continued bagging my groceries. Well, by the time I was walking out to the car, I realized I was stepping on my pants! At the car I quickly pulled them up from down around my butt!!!! Gotta get a belt
I had that happen while I was walking my dogs...they were pulling me so I couldn't stop to tug em back up... they made it down past my butt!!! Boy was I proud... I remembered them being so tight they use to hurt. You remember... first you kind of lay back to zip them... then the bend at the knees and squat a little... bounce till they finally give and you can breath again!!! I would rather wear them a little dirty than wash em again and have to go through the torture of breaking them back in!! I bet you feel GREAT! You deserve a new pair of jeans! Treat yourself Girl... you have earned it!!! Buy yourself a new pair of favorite jeans! |
Roxie, I remember your story! too funny. What a great part of losing weight, woops...I lost my pants |
I just don't have a "falling pants" story....I wear a belt all the time...and when I ran out of holes I just traded belts with hubby as he was gaining while I was losing. Get yourself those jeans!! Head over to your local Salvation Army or used clothing store. I love Value Village...I can try on 12 different brand names in one store and get three or four pairs of jeans for less than $20! Plus, some of their sales goes to the diabetes association. Everybody wins! |
