With a new year approaching, it's time once again to reevaluate health goals. Here are mine:
1) Daily -- 50 pushups and 100 situps. First thing in the morning straight out of bed. This used to be regular routine for me but has somehow slipped into something I now regretably almost never do.
2) Hit the gym 2 times/week...with 1/2 cardio and 1/2 weight training. Like goal #1 I plan to make this a part of my routine such that it becomes an essential activity that takes priority.
3) Cut back on coffee. I'm drinking 2-3 cups a day which is way too much.
4) Do at least one detox. I did a 10-day detox this past spring and felt fantastic. During the detox I only consumed raw, natural, organic foods and cut out alcohol, caffeine, refined foods and sweets etc.
5) Buy more organic and natural foods in general. I try to do this to begin with, but would prefer to start shopping at places like Trader Joes and Whole Foods.
