Entry 10 Pounds Down!

I started this whole thing less than a month ago, and I've already lost the first 10 Lbs!  I was so excited when I saw that number on the scale this morning!

 

I've been eating between 1200-1600 cals a day (probably averages out to about 1400) with a "cheat" day once every two weeks (I volunteer at an animal rescue organization every other Saturday and on those days I put in a lot of physical activity so I allow myself to eat whatever I want).  On the days I have class I've started parking in the lot farthest away from where I need to go so I have to walk all the way across the building, which allows me to get in some exercise without really having to set aside time.  This week has actually been pretty awful food-wise because of stress and hormone fluctuations, but I'm still down 1.5 lbs from last week.  I think the days that I'm 'cheating' are tricking my metabolism, and it's nice to take a break every once in a while.
