Second day almost over as well.
I did well today. Quite a few things happened but one of the best is a newly found friend on CC.
I had a good plan for the day and I almost kept to it except for a two finger kit kat. But the good thing about it is that I stopped immediately. Usually I would have acted differently and continued eating chocolates or cookies as I would have assumed that I had already spoilt my day, might as well continue!!!!
Breakfast: 2 weetabix + skimmed milk
Snack: 2 slices brown bread with 60g cottage cheese.
Lunch: Soup with pulses
Snack: kitkat + banana
Dinner: chicken breast marinated in teryaki sauce + broccoli + zucchini + 100g boiled potato
CC gave me a B+ for today - not bad I guess, my sodium was a bit high, I think it is because I tend to boil all veggies with salt. How can anyone eat them without? Does anybody have an alternative ?
Daily Sodium Intake - 3,589 mg
Daily Sugar Intake - 52 grams
Daily Cholesterol Intake - 179 mg
Daily Saturated Fat Intake - 18 grams
Daily Fiber Intake - 17 grams
Cal in 1600 and cal out 2280. (-680) Did not do exercise today but did loads of housework approx 3 hours or more.
I am happy you are having a better day. I am too! This fresh start stuff is great!!! I need to log again too... just too lazy I guess. Nope, I am going to take a cue from you and I am going to go log my day right now! Thanks amandaj1! I loved salt and put it on everything!!! But then... for one week I cut it out completely. No salt added to anything... Any canned food I ate I made sure the sodium was very low or I did not eat it. I even ate EGGS with no salt (can you imagine, I couldn't)... And ya know what? Now it does not bother me at all. I do not EVER put salt in the food I cook AND I do not salt it before eating it. I think it was easy to do once you get past that first week. As a matter a fact now if food has too much salt I taste and turn away... Amazing for a formal salt lover like you! TRY IT!!! One week, that is all it takes! |
