Entry Yoga

So last night, I finally made it to my yoga class. This is also the first yoga class I have taken in about 10 years. Unless you count the 1/2 hour in the Pi-Yo class on Saturday, which was soothing, with relaxing music. That is also how I remember the yoga classes being that I have taken in the past. This one was not like that. There was no music at all...which made it very hard to concentrate with kardio-kick next door, and a children's play center on the other side, and the yoga was the hardest yoga I have ever done. And when I say I did it, I am stretching the truth a bit. I attempted to do it...some of it. There were times when I thought 'my legs will no longer hold me up, and I am going to collapse right here in front of the class'. That was inbetween the times when I felt like I might vomit. I couldn't believe that an hour of yoga could be that hard or extreme. And I was sweating! During yoga? Really? Holy cow! I will go again next week, but I'm not sure if I can stick with it. I'm really more of a zumba girl, I guess. Turn up the music and move your hips! Arribba! Arribba!

What is yoga without the calming music?!? Every time I do this TRX class I feel like I'm almost going to vomit. I feel like it's boot camp. I always have to grit my teeth so hard and groan to get me through some of the exercises. I'm sure the yoga is still plenty good for your body, even if it's harder on your mind. Arribba Arribba! LOL. Sounds like a lot more fun to me. :)

No kidding! I can't believe there was no music. This must be like, yoga in Tibet, or something.

Sounds like your butt kicking class is paying off - keep that definition coming!
