Entry Can't get below 134
Jan 17 2008 12:12

So the last time I weighed before I went home from school I was 135, I came back about 3 weeks later at 141, now, not even 2 weeks later I am back down to 135.  Why is it that it's so easy for me to get back down to that number but when I want to go to 134, it just doesn't happen.  What's up?  I exercise plenty running about 12 miles a week, I usually am at about 1500 calories, what else can I possibly do?  dang

Water weight?

For me changes in my diet (like yesterday, when I was 600 calories over my usual amount, resulting in a bigger number on the scale this morning) can result in bumps like that due to increases in water weight, so it's easy to get back down again after returning to the normal diet and exercise schedule. It's similarly easy for me to get back down after ballooning up a little, but hard to lose weight at the lower amount - that's because it's actual weight loss occurring. It's a lot harder for a body to change its makeup and decrease actual body fat than it is for it to get rid of water weight.

that's my two cents...

It's all a matter of preference, but I think you look great as is.

what exercise routine do you do?

I know it's a matter of what weight you feel best at, but I don't think you need to lose any more. You look fantastic. In fact, the photo of you at 134 is what I hope to look like when I lose all my extra weight.

Thanks guys!  I am trainig for a half marathon that is in April so I run 4-5 days a week.  I love when I go on long runs because that means I can eat more!
