Entry your mom goes to college
Aug 26 2007 09:03

I've been at college since Friday and I am very very afraid of counting all of the calories I have consumed.  I ate good foods and know that I ate healthy but the drinking!  I can't say no.  We had a keggar at my house and I love beer.  I had a great time and it was worth it but whoa I do not even want to know how many calories I consumed that night.  Last night I went out and did not plan to drink.  I got a red cup and put water in it so no one would bother me about not having a drink and then a very drunk friend of mine brought me a shot and was like you're doing it with me, so I did and that was all I had, but it's still some calories I didn't need. :(  This is how I put 7 pounds that I lost back on last year, dang.  How do you say no to beer?

I have a hard time sayimg no to beer too. Its my ultimate downfall...and the reason I still have my "little" beer gut. Oh well...it only gets worse with football season here!

i had a HORRIBLE time in college..went from a very tiny very athletic 115 to 140 (still not heavy i know but a 25 lb gain is a lot for anyone - especially a girl in college.).by the end of freshmen year.. i was always on 3 soccer teams in high school and when i got to college my onnly activity was walking  to the nearest party..in pictures i havesuch an unhealthy bloated look about me..

sophomore year i became serious about the gym and got into running.. i also opted to drink crystal light and vodka instead of the natural ice that was so readily available..obviously not the wisest of choices but it definitely helped with the calories...

enjoy college it goes by so fast :)
