Well, like the Bible says: There is a time for everything. This is my time!
I started here Feb. 14, but was unable to exercise until today. I started slow, with a 10 minute work out. It just about killed me! I am soooo out of shape. But that will change, I promise.
Anyhow, I'm so wiped right now... I hold on to the promise:
'THOSE WHO WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.
THEY SHALL RAISE UP WITH WINGS, AS EAGLES.
THEY SHALL RUN AND NOT BE WEARY,
THEY SHALL WALK AND NOT FAINT.
Teach me Lord, teach me Lord to wait.

Angel, my daughter collects them too! It will get easier to work out. Each time. Great that you started! Just take it easy. It's amazing how fast you get comfortable with the exercise. I've never worked out in my life until now. Keep it going... you're an inspiration! |
Angel when I first started doing this in December I could not WALK up a single flight of stairs and not huff and puff. It is just now approaching the end of february and I can walk 3 miles and 3.5mph and feel great with no wheezing! I can lift 5 and 10 pound weights and every day now I run, yes RUN up flights of stairs :) It just takes persistence and a little time and you will see just how much your body loves you and wants to become your friend :). You will get stronger than you think you can sooner than you think is possible. Ten minutes is a great start, some people can't even do that! Hugs to you! |
Hi Angel.. When i started out I was only walking 15 minutes on the treadmill then worked up to 30 then this weekend I got sick and I am not going to be able to go on until this darn respitory flu goes away!! I love your angel pictures... they are Beautiful!! |
