That is very conservative, which is good. I don't even really have a time for when I want to reach 140. We shall see. 8 lbs o go. I'm just sticking to a decifit and healthy living. You must be 5'5'' like me, cause that was my BMI when I hit 149. It only took me about 4.5 months from 181, so I have a feeling, you might get there faster than you think :) Although fast is not as important as keeping it off for good. |
Thanks for your comment. I agree one hundred percent, particularly about the "new mentality". Most of the couples I know (around my age) do exactly that. I don't want that. I want what my grandparents have, to be 85 and wrinkly and grumping at the same man over coffee every morning. :) I really like your chart of goals; and it looks absolutely doable. Good luck! |
Wow. 4.5 months is still a bit of a motivater. When you're on the starting end, it all seems so far away. It's so awesome that you're so close to your goal! :) I think 130 for me is very optimistic just because this was my ending highschool weight (and I was really closer to 150, I think, just before my pregnancy) . I'm sure it's possible to get back down there, but I'd prefer to be reasonable. Active and healthy, preferably, not just aiming for a weight and/or obsessing. I think what burns me out is constantly thinking about food intake. Then I get sick of it or I focus too much on the food and overeat more than I would have. Thanks for the motivation, cellotlhicks. sharpshootinstar: Exactly! We were made for just that. It drives me nuts how people think these days. I'm considered bizarre for marrying as early as I did (nearly 20) but I'm happy that I found him so early. It's not like we've got incredibly long lives. All this crap about waiting til you're 30, getting your life in order, blah. What will you argue about then? LOL |
