Went to the doctor today for my annual checkup and weighed in at 133. Not awful but not great. I have been sick for the past few weeks so I haven't been to the gym at all and I feel a bit flabby.
But there was a new zumba class at the gym today after work. The instructor was an amazing salsa/hip hop dancer and the class rocked. I have never had a 400 cal workout feel that good.
They offer Zumba at my gym but I have never taken it. I might have to now!!!!! |
The class is definitely only as good as the teacher. I took a class at my old gym that was a bit more geared toward older ladies, which was still fun, just a lot less energetic. I think I just like the nonstop cardio of it ... getting to bounce all around and be silly but also get a good workout! |
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
