First of all, I just want to congratulate myself on making it 5 weeks without giving up and going back to my old habits. I admit I have had one binge which I made a journal entry about, and a couple of days where I ate over my 1500 limit but overall I think I'm doing really well!!
I have a pair of size 11 Lee jeans that I bought a few years ago but which are still in good condition as for most of the time I've owned them I haven't been able to fit them! Anyway, whenever I am trying to get back in shape I always use this pair of jeans as a way of seeing how I'm doing every few days. When I first started this nearly 6 weeks ago, I couldn't get them on AT ALL. They were clearly way too small. But this morning, I tried them on and they fit!!! I must admit they were very tight (too tight to wear anywhere yet) but I was able to do up all three buttons!! It sounds silly but this is a big thing for me and I'm really happy I've come this far. I've still got a way to go yet though, my last weigh-in I was 75 and my goal is to get in under 65.
I've had a lot going on this past week, I had an end of year exam, plus I was moving house so I have done not a lot of exercise, haven't been eating too sensibly and I also haven't been logging my food. Hopefully from today I should be back on track. I'm doing a step class today and then a bodypump class tonight too, then another class tomorrow. I wanna get as much exercise in as I can before my weigh-in on Wednesday morning. I didn't have a loss last week so I really really want one this week!! I'm aiming for 74.3. Here's hoping!!
