Okay so i have been struggling with extreme weight loss and just so many hard things latley. I am recovering from an eating disorder which is hard on its own but im also trying to get my period back. i havent had it in 7 months maybe even longer and im so scared im never going to get it back. im currently at a weight of 89 and i know i dont have enough body fat. i eat popcorn and like 1/4 jar of peanut butter every night and i dont even gain weight from it so how is my period ever going to come back! i have completly given up. i need adive on foods or websites i can look at to help me! thanks!
I wish i have the answer for you....but i don't i have lost so much percentage of my weight 3 years ago and i have gained all the weight back healthily..with care of my mom (she is a doctor)....but still have no period......my BMI is healthy now....i just don't have a clue....my mom has no clue either....but you have to gain you weight back to the normal BMI first...about 19-20 so then there is a higher chance of you getting it back naturally....
hope you are doing well. |
i lost my period too for over 5 months or more, and basically as soon as i hit a healthy weight again, i got my period back. i gained back 25lbs in <5 months. still thin but at a healthy weight. unfortunately i didnt really gain healthily - i ate a lot of sweets etc, but that seemed to do the trick |
