Entry Day 9 (Graphic-not for sensitive, um.. stomachs!)
Nov 10 2009 11:23

So, naturally, as I expected, no great move of the scale..  it stayed pretty much the same... which on at least one level is a good thing.  Unfortunately, the major, debilitating migraines are back in full force this morning.  Ugh!

However, on a good note, I'm still feeling like staying on the wagon - I'm not desiring the carbs so much, had my scrambled eggs this morning - so we're good!

FYI, you may want to skip reading the next part... :)

As if a mutant ancestor of the cow, I have 2 stomachs called the upper and lower (from my pov).  Now, the Lower, which is (not) affectionately called 'the apron' - although wide - hasn't been really seen much of lately for reasons pertaining to the protrudement of the Upper.  The Upper, which is (not) affectionately called 'the mountainous region' or 'hilltop' has been, for lack of a better word, not so pliable and looks rather 'pregnant' (albeit about 18 mos pregnant, but still pregnant).

Well, since the lack of carbs, even though I have not seen a major drop in the scales (yet!), I have now been able to actually SEE the lower.  Ok, this is not something I really am ecstatic about looking at for aesthetic reasons, but the fact that I CAN if I want to - is like totally cool!!!  Which is the only reason I'm not freakin out about the lack of droppage on the scales!

Alright, so enough graphic fat stories for the day.  Lord, please make my praises for you today, louder than the grumbles of my (now) smaller hilltop, and hopefully soon to be waning apron!  Love you God and Thanks!  Smile
