This  week is off to a good start. It's my workouts that keep me motivated and feeling good about myself. I train 3 x a week with a trainer doing weights and walk to work when I can ( 1 1/2 hr walk at 3.5 mph) and also today am adding in Bar Method once a week as well. I love my training sessions and my trainer. It's an expense for sure but she keeps me motivated and out "appointments" keep me hitting up the gym on a regular basis. I cut costs else where because I love our sessions so much. Not only are they great for my health and diet but they also are a great stress release after a rough day at work or external stresses which threaten to overwhelm me. It's also my time for just me. an hour of time between work and home in which I know I am doing something good for myself, it's my time for me- and it's so great to be able to carve out an hour for me 4 x a week. I love the way it makes me feel. When I leave the gym I feel strong and empowered and as though I could conquer the world. On the days I can't make it to the gym I feel like I have less energy and I'm not as upbeat and positive. I feel it building like I want to push myself harder and add hikes on Saturday or try out new classes. I'm sos excited for all the progress I've made and feel very proud of myself.
