My boss is a pain and its driving me nuts

Well I work for a Township and its driving me nuts anymore. Its all about the politics. Today my boss was going to cut me and a co-works hours downto 22 hours a week because shes mad that the co-work backed the girl that ran against her. She told us it was a lack of work in the office which at this time of the year we are always die      she had no problem getting a raise at the first of this year. She wanted more than what she got. She told the board that the economy wasn't that bad. She is the assessor of the township and gets anything she wants. She wanted a township car so she got it. Nobody will stop the bull shit that goes on. I dont dont know what to do anymore. I some times can't stand to talk to her. If she breaks the rules its ok but if we do its the end of world.    I don't know id I should look for a new job or just ride out the storm. What would you do.  IAM WORK ING WITH A CONTROL FRECK

Well she came back from her trip today. Things havent been to bad so far. Shes still acting a little strange. Shes closing her door and thats ok with me. I dont want to hear that shes talking about us. I guess if she talks about me and that other girl shes not talking about anybody else....Ive put my foot down to not go out to lunch anymore with her. I dont want to have nothing but a work relationship now. I think shes total two face to everybody. I can hope that her trip has made her in a better mood. We will see
