Entry Anyone have a cure for keeping wasps, bees off my patio?
Sep 17 2009 12:17

I live on a 3rd floor apartment, and like to sit on my patio to watch the sun set but almost every evening and throughout the day bees hover around or wasps or hornets, I do not see any nests and do not have flowers just herbs, is there some home remedy smell or product to deter them, it is frustrating....grrr I have tried googling this question but have had no answers?

You should post this as a forum question in the lounge so people can see it and respond. They most likely won't see your journal. I have the same problem, so i would love to hear peoples suggestions as well! :)

they sell bee traps at lowes.  we had to buy one last december because the bees were all coming into ang's bedroom & we never saw the bees again.  it was awesome!  :D

it didn't catch any.  they just quit coming in.

Are you herbs going to seed? They flower (even if they don't look like flowers) and may be attracting the bees. Don't know if you could find any wormwood to try. I've heard bleach is somewhat of a repellent. Guess that would be a cheap one to try and you'll think you're at the pool! lol.
