Seems the last time I looked at my profile Kyle was still here, so I thought I would update it, I got a call from Kyle today and he said he had an argument with Nicole and his dad and Nicole had grabbed him and shoved him up the stairs and his father on a separte occasion got out of the car swearing at Kyle as he was driving him to school, So I have emailed them wanting to find out what the heck is going on...nothing makes me madder then the thought of someone putting their hands on my son or abusing him...grr Now I don't have all the facts yet and I am truly hoping that Kyle has exaggerated the facts, he said though the only reason he grabbed Nicole back was trying to get her hands off him, he had never grabbed me in all his years so I am hoping there is no truth to this or else there will be trouble...Mother protecting her cub you know! I know most of you don't know all the facts but the ones who do know me also know my son...I know his father has a mouthy temper at times but I was told he has changed...oh really..everytime I talk to him we end up pushing each others buttons, and I clearly heard him insulting Kyle on the phone yesterday? Saying 'your head is for something other then just a place to hang your hat..Brian has always been so darn insulting in his ways...I hope I haven't made a huge mistake...
Well I asked Kyle if he is happy there, and still wants to live there and he said yes, so I am patiently waiting for a email from them to explain this!
***The biggest loser: I was watching my programs differently tonight and MISSED Biggest loser...oh no..WHAT HAPPENED, WHO was sent home...what all did I miss..any drama with Tracey??? Please fill me in??
Coach Mo got sent home. The groups were divided into 2 teams -- Blue training with Bob, Black training with Jillian. Tracy, of all people, won the golden ticket so she was the one to determine the teams. She pissed more people off by splitting up the original teams. Anyway she was on the Blue with Mo, and they had less overall weight loss than the Black team -- much to her dismay! And Coach Mo had the lowest percentage, so he asked everyone to send him home. Can't believe the Blue team voted Coach Mo off instead of Tracy. And you should have seen the tears from Tracy as she voted to send Coach Mo home! Anyway -- sorry about Kyle, there will always be hiccups. He's a big kid, and was probably being rude to Nicole, and that's why she grabbed him. I'm sure he was struggling back and that's why he fell on the stairs. Better to fall up than down, eh? The hat comment from Brian is not insulting IMO -- just a reminder to use the head for thinking :) |
kyle is probably doing fine. you know... kids! :D i'm sure it will all be ok & that you still did the right thing. yeah, the coach told them to send him home. it was pretty cool, though. you shoulda seen it! |
I would have been surprised if it was much longer before you got one of those calls. I know we're in a 'honeymoon' phase with SD & that one of these days it will pass. Then her mom will hear about all kinds of injustices at our hands. Of course you need to keep your ears open but I wouldn't be overly concerned by what he described. Esp. since he says he really is happy there overall. BTW, DH has had that sort of thing from his girls for years. He found that not reacting at all to them tended to cut down on the complaints about every little thing. (I know Kyle hasn't done that, but it can turn into it if encouraged.) That didn't mean he didn't take note or even check about it, he just didn't allow them to get any feedback that would encourage being a tattle tale.
