173.5 - up a bunch. Could be water retention and earlier weigh in. I am sore this morning from yesterday's race. Not like a normal long run that's for sure.
E and I had a quiet afternoon after having lunch at Jason's Deli. I read some, took a short nap, then had cereal for dinner, high fiber n protein, low sugar, with vanilla soy milk. Didn't want anything else.
head still stuffed. Have to tough it out and get some work done today...
I hear you on the water retention bit. I was up two pounds and couldn't figure out if it was due to salt consumption last night as well. I'm not so much sore as STIFF. Every time I sit for more than a few minutes it's difficult to get moving again. And my hip flexors are SHOT. I may need massage therapy to help loosen them up a bit. It's making me antsy! But, YAY for us! We did it! Now onto the next one....Hope the cold symptoms go away soon, too :) |
I agree with the STIFF, my quads don't like me today... Haven't heard of a 13.1 magnet before, will have to look for one. I did put on a western belt with my new Fort Worth Marathon buckle this morning. Now for a week of rest, very light running, a bit of keep at it next week, then on to Atlanta with its 2-3% hill from mi 7-12! It declines some 200 feet over 2 mi then climbs 300+ from about 7.5-12- mi! My son and almost everyone walked at some point when he did the ING Marathon last year over the same course. I WILL not extend my running times in this race! |
