I am going to plan some fun rewards for weight loss milestones:
10% lost (28 lbs) 255 = New bicycle
20% lost (56 lbs) 227 = Birthstone ring, gold w/diamonds, manicure
30% lost (84 lbs) 199 = Full body massage, pedicure
40% lost (112 lbs) 171 = Trip to Grand Canyon
50% lost (140 lbs) 143 = Trip to Cedar Point or Kings Island with my niece/nephew
58% lost (163 lbs) 120 = New Wardrobe (Goal Achieved!!!)
These are all things I really want, especially the trip with my niece and nephew--that is probably the ultimate reward but I didn't want get a new wardrobe until I reach goal weight.
those are neat rewards! I need to work a rewards list up. Cheers!! *holds up a glass in toast* love, Karen have a God day! |
great goals, but the new wardrobe is something that will have to "grow on you" because with every 20 lbs or something everything will "fall off your butt", so enjoy the new wardrobe every so often... (can I come to the grand canyon???) |
Great idea and great goals!! Now I want to do something similar... |
You can do it, good luck! I should do something similar to get myself back where I would love to be :) keep it up! |
goals are awesome. :D that should help you to stay on track. especially them goals. they look great! you WILL need new clothes now & then, but i guess a whole new wardrobe would be last. 120?! wow! you REALLY are going for it! you might as well... enjoy!!! |
Good luck! My sister did weight watchers and lost 40lbs and has had no trouble keeping it off! I know you'll do awesome! I love your goals too btw. |
Awesome! I hope you can set some mini goals too because those help us make it through the day to day challenges. |
Fun list, Brenda! I like ninav's suggestion for mini goals, too, it does help :) |
I do mini goals, 10 lbs at a time! But, I haven't written down rewards, I just presume after 20 lbs, I need to buy clothes. Thanks for making me think about another thing I can do to motivate myself. more. Take care and God Bless. |
Fun! What a well thought out plan. Can't wait until you reach that very first milestone! |
What a great idea! Hope you get the bike real soon, then you can really work on the other goals! Good luck. I may have to rethink my own weight loss and dangle a "carrot" in front of my nose. |
Neat thing, your rewards. The bike is a great idea because it will only encourage more fitness!! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see your new wardrobe! Peace |
