Entry Heavens to Betsy
Dec 14 2008 13:15

I am back after a fat filled hiatus.  Gained 11 lbs over the past 2 months.  Just goes to show me that I can't not pay attention.  If I work hard, I can lose a little bit.  If I work a little bit, I will stay the same.  If I don't work at it at all, I gain.

I know a week before Christmas isn't the best time to try and get back on the band wagon but if not now, then when?  After I have gained another 5 lbs?

Oh, well.  It is like life, full of ups and downs.

Fortunately things are going well in my life so I really have no complaints and I am looking forward to seeing how everyone is doing.

LOL's heavens to Betsy ~ Glad you posted again, lets support each other.  I think we are both in the same weight range if I am not mistaken.  275?  If not I hope I didn't offend you     because I have so many friends I am trying to remember their goals and weigh-ins and that is a very very hard task for me to do.

Take care and God Bless.

Christmas will be tough to focus on eating right, but as long as you stay aware of what you are eating, any damage will be minimal, even if you do indulge a bit. Or, you can take Christmas by the horns (teehee) and get through it triumphantly. I mean, if you can get through it successfully wouldn't that be a great confidence booster for the rest of the time when there aren't temptations everywhere!

Good luck!

You are not alone, dear.  The road has been full of pot holes, possibly with land mines even.  I am glad that you jumped back on the wagon.  I am trying not to gain during this period.

love, Karen  have a God day!!

Welcome back!!!

There's no time like the present.  I've started slipping as well and figure that if I can make it through the holidays without actually gaining that is the first step to a healthier me in the new year.  Join me as we get back on the wagon together.
