Entry dinner out results

At the Outback steakhouse I ordered the steak & vegtable grillers with no butter or glazes, with a sweet potato, with all of the topppings on the side (instead of rice).  I ordered the house salad (without croutons and cheese) with fat free tangy tomato dressing.  I did have two small slices of bread.  If I calculated correctly, the totals are below :-) I think I am finally learning how to order what I am allowed to eat :-)

Wow!  You get the PHD of CC!  Good deal!  How did you find out how many oz the meat was going to be?

Drea99, the site was cool but it did not have the food I ordered on it. Yes, I always order the fish and steamed veggies so I decided to go all out and get a steak and potato.

D24k1968, I guessed on the ounces of meat or sometimes I ask my server.

Best of all my weight is the same today :-) Hopefully it will go down tomorrow!

we luv the Outback...

I was surprised to figure out that restaurants actually kind of brush a butter/herb/garlic spiced butter or sauce onto a lot of things, including salmon, veggies and baby red potatos...

so there are ways to  get stuff a better way... i was kind of shy about asking, but nobody batted an eye so i guess i'm not the only one asking, eh?

Glad u figured this stuff out ~ it makes me feel like I can cope with going out to eat...

happy dining!
