Back after a long winter break

After nearly a month off I'm back at school and back on the computer regularly so I should be on here more often. I don't have a roomy, yet, although there is always the possibility that I could get one for at least another week or two. I'm too tired to have much to say, monwedfri I walk just under six miles a day. I'll attempt to be more comprehensible later.

Well it's later and I'm all done with classes, and dinner, and really have no reason to stay awake. I'm super tired, mainly because at home I couldn't fall asleep until 3, but I got to sleep in for as long as I want. So I'm abusing some nyquil only for my first week to try and get my body back on school time.

Potentially Horrible Weather

So we are supposed to get around a foot of snow sometime tomorrow so all exams have been post poned. Roomy still has her exam in the morning, but now that the campus is going to be open longer, she's thinking about staying longer...I will make sure this doesn't happen.

Now my exam is saturday at 6:30, which means I might not have time to get the 8 pm bus home, which means I'll have to wait until sunday to go home. Fuck.

AND SHE'S OUT OF HERE!

I have some of the most wonderful news in the world, my roomy is leaving after this semester (we only have one week of final exams) and she's not coming back! She claims to be transfering, but I know it's past the deadline and she hasn't been accepted anywhere (where they hell do you think you're going when you don't even have a 2.5 gpa???) and since le boyfriend is planning on giving her a $6,000 ring I'm fairly certain she's off to enjoy her career as a trophy wife (even though it's supposed to be a non-engagement ring).

At any rate, as soon as I get an e-mail from the housing department asking me if I want to leave my room open or buy out the open space, I'm going to treat myself to having a single room so I won't have to deal with any other roommates.

ESPN is finally broadcasting the UEFA Champions League! I got to see two matches today and tomorrow is Real Madrid vs Zenit! I cannot wait!

Tim the Toolman Taylor!

Ha, I just saw an old episode of Home Improvement, I used to have such a big crush on the middle son.

With one unrelated thing and another I'm just going to be listing what I've eaten today with calories if I know that, but I don't know for sure.

11:00- A ladle full of chicken noodle soup (mostly broth) I don't know how many fluid ounces it hold, but I know it can't be that much. And then I had half a sweet potato, which was still huge and very filling. I was stuff after that but I still had a peanut power bar (rise kirispe-y but with peanuts, and cranberries) which was less than 200. I also had two mints (40 ish calories).

I might have a snack a little later on, or I might sleep. I'm not sure, but I have some all bran and two oranges (the most orange oranges I've seen in a while in case I get hungry for dinner).

Roomy will be leaving soon for the weekend and I'm going to a hockey game tonight so it looks like it's shaping up to be a great weekend!

I love this

Losing weight is so much fun!

Granted right now I dropped my daily calorie intake so I'm tired right now, but that'll only last another day or so. I'm not going to be seriously monitering my calories until new year, then knowing me I'll be back down to my goal weight by my birthday! Plus I'll be home alone for a while on winter break so I have time to go all elliptical crazy! I'll also be on my own for breakfast (which I never eat anymore so that's a nonissue) lunch (which will be oatmeal or miso soup and broccoli) and then dinner I can either make for my family or I can just eat what I want.

Due to my final exam schedule I'll have to remember to only eat one meal a day on the weekends, otherwise I'll run out of meals during final exams, and I realy need the energy to study. I'm planning on just taking a lot of oranges (no more than ten, that would be absurd) they're less than 100 calories each so that can easily be a meal and will probably last me for more than one day, although it would be fun to see how many oranges I can eat in a day...

I mean for this to turn into a rant

It seems that I only write journals anymore when my roomy is really bothering me and there's no one online to talk to me. Sigh, damn it, I've decided to be nice until seven, and then I'll deal with her.

Honestly, if you have a roommate who always uses headphones, wouldn't you move a few feet get your head phones, and use them instead of watching trashy (well I assume trash) chinese soap operas while your roommate is trying to do homework? Now wouldn't that be a logical thing to do. Apparently it is far to much to ask of her. Maybe if I just go out for a walk....but it's really dark, but hey it's better than dealing with this shit.

She's just getting worse and worse.....

Finals are coming up and I'll be going home soon, really that's the only thing that's keeping me motivated.

I didn't mean for this to turn into a rant

I'm very proud of myself. I don't really have that much to say, but since my roomy is taking a nap right now and have the nerve to tell me that "Oh, the wireless is working upstairs," like I was being a problem is getting a lovely dose of karma. Every night I have to wait at least an hour after I start trying to fall asleep having to deal with you with your light on, on the computer, talking on the phone. After I "nicely" tell you at 12, that it's time to turn the light out, you either A. Get ready for bed leaving the door completely open so I have to get up and close it, and so help me if you don't have your keys I don't care. B. Turn off the light but proceed to continue using the computer, and I know what you're doing, you're just shopping online, turn that thing off and go to bed. or C. Realize that you haven't done any of your homework and proceed to tell me that you can't possibly turn of the lights because you're a complete idiot and proceed to work late into the night and then sleep in until 4 the next day. Which is why I have ever so nicely turned off my light, mainly because I'm not a bitch, but I'm going to type away all I want. Honestly, who takes a nap at 7 after you've been sleeping in all day? Granted she did go to a class..one....and I know that she's going to stay up late so when I'm trying to sleep at midnight she'll still be up.

Wow, that was an angry paragraph, but really she gets on my nerves. She's a complete hypocrite. If you can proceed to have 90 minute conversations when I'm trying to sleep, don't you dare try and tell me at 7 pm to go away. I don't do that to you at 2 am.

Rant over, somewhat, she's just pissing me off. The beauty of it is that I always wake up earlier than her, so if she decides that I'm being "unfair" tonight and wants to stay up late, fine, I can make you pay for it in them morning. I don't have anything against naps, I take naps, and you're loud for them too, which is why I try to make sure I take them when you're not here.

Oh, so I've decided to start being really stict with calories starting in december. It'll be so much fun! I haven't been all that strict recently but I'm still loosing, or at least I'm getting smaller, which is also quite nice. I notice that the frequency of people who sit next to me in class is directly proportional to how thin I am. The thinner, the more people who sit next to me. However, this could also be caused by other factors, like chair avaliability.

I'm freezing right now. That's because I have my window open. And it's really cold outside. I like the feeling of being cold, it's quite nice. It makes me feel awake, but it also makes my nose run whenever I go outside, which isn't nearly as nice. And then it gets hard for me to breath since my nasal cavity is such that I can't breathe through my nose as well as I'm supposed to. It's like a pipe that's been smooshed together, I can get air in there, but not a lot. Yeah, so I don't like it when mucus clogs it up.

My Top Two List of things that Bothered me Today:

2. Mucus

1. Roomy

Cannot wait for her to drop out!

Love,

Me

P.S My cousin (who's my age) is getting married to someone (also my age) who says she knows me from Junior High, but I have no idea who she is, but the more I say her name the more I think I know her. Whatever, it's just a very awkward situation. I can't imagine people my age getting married. But he is very tall...

Must...write...journals....

Events I have not yet spoken about:

The end of midterms
The cold
The snow
The darkness
The parents visit
The peas!
The classes for next year

Right now I'm just trying to keep my brain awake so I can go home next week for thanksgiving break. I don't want to learn anymore, I don't want to stay awake anymore, I don't want to move anymore.

I had to put on pants today it was so cold. It's under 30 which is under 0 to you crazy celcious folks. Which is 273 kelvin. I should always tell the temperature in kelvin, it's awesome. Yeah so pants, it was weird my legs were so warm. I'm going to have to get some more sweat pants, I have a severe hatred for jeans, because I can never find any that fit me. I apparently have a much shorter inseam than most people because the crotch on the jeans is always really low. I do not have a penis, this is not necessary, give me some jeans that fit. I don't know why my legs would be shorter, my arms are abnormally long...

Yes so, I was happy that I was wearing pants because I noticed that some of the puddles had frozen over, so it was cold. And I ate peas today. I don't know how my school gets the best peas in this weather, they're not canned, they might be frozen, but they're really really wonderful. I just ate a bowl of peas for dinner...I always eat peas with honey, I've done it all my life, I know it tastes rather funny, but it keeps them on the knife!

Oh and then roomy slept in until 4 yesterday and 2 today, and she falls asleep before I do, and then she feels free to wake up right when I'm all done with classes for the day and turn on all the lights. Well, I've got her trained to be quiet.

MY PARENTS CAME TO SEE ME! I love them, they're awesome. Well my mom is crazy, not always in the funny crazy, more in the there's something not right about you, go to the doctor sort of crazy. We went to a hockey game along with over 7000 people and won against the top ranked school 5-1. I can only watch hockey live, I can't stand it on tv, you don't get to yell insults.

My keyboard feels off, I think I'm sitting slightly more to one side than the other. Okay, no, still off. Better, yes this is, wait, no, not yet. Maybe now, yep okay I'm situated just right.

I'll be home in less than a week. Make it through thursday (roomy actually has classes and should be out) friday (day is done at 10) saturday and sunday (le boyfriend is over and does a decent job at keeping roomy quiet and takes her places so I might not have to deal with her, although if she was smart (which she isn't) she would just go home seeing as how she has no class monday or wednesday so what's the point of going to tuesday?) then monday (meh, not bad. I love the fact that meh is a word) and finally tuesday (I'm in class until 5..not so much fun) Then I have to wake up very early and catch a bus at 7 am and get into boston around 10, meet my dad, get on a train, go to providence, get on a bus and go home!

Help me find my head

My head seems to have disconnected from my body, I have no idea where it is, and I'll be needing it to night for yet another midterm.

Having nearly five days off of school has really messed with me. I sleep in until 1 in the afternoon and don't eat anything until 8-9, or I still sleep in until nine, eat around 4, and then don't eat again until 5 the next day, which is what just happened.

Well today is my first day back on the school schedule, so I should be getting more organized. This is a huge change from what I'm normally like during pms...
