buy now, pay later

so while browsing through Stitches today I saw a pair of size 5 jeans on a rack and thought wow those look WAY TOO SMALL to be a size 5, and sure enough I held up a pair of jeans listed as a size 1 beside them, and they were the extact same size!

In fact the "size 5" ones looked smaller in the waist then the size 1's... strange. I feel bad for the size 5 girl who can't get them past her knees. That's the most discouraging feeling in the world.

Leave it to Stiches to make faulty clothing and pay underage kids 5 cents an hour to stich them together in sweat shops... yeesh.

I think i'll start investing in quality rather then quantity... after Christmas I think I'll pick up a pair of Silver brand jeans

I can't wait to move out

two days ago my mom asked me if there was anything at my work (GNC) to get my brother for christmas

I said sarcastically, "um, like what.. diet pills?"

My mom said "yeah, something like that."

WHATTT!! what kind of parent would even consider getting diet pills for a 12 year old!!?? Yes my brother is well overweight, but seriously, diet pills for christmas? what is wrong with you? How about first you stop allowing him to eat all the bagels, chips and frosted flakes he wants, and make him eat more vegetables and lean protein.

I told her they weren't reccommended for people under 18..

...

Yesterday I got home from work, and a box of diet pills were sitting on the kitchen table. I asked my mom who they were for, she told me "oh I got them for Ashlei, to see if she'd like to try them"

my sister is 18, and overweight... but again, how about you start her with a healthy diet, and not order take out every other night

...

My mom doesn't seem to understand that just because she has a thyroid condition and can drink all the beer she wants and eat all the pizza she would like and not gain weight, doesn't mean every one else is the same!! She feeds my sister and brother all the same crap she eats, and they keep getting bigger, but she doesnt

I was absolutely furious when I saw the box of diet pills. Absolutely digraceful. What an insult too.. if I came home and my mom said "here you should try these" and then hand me a box of Hydroxycut I would probably cry my eyes out

I wasn't there to see how my sister handled it.

...

This is who I have to live with. This is the main reason I had/have eating problems.

Bought a new pair of Asics today (11th edition in their cushioning line, and they are PURPLE AND SILVER), as well as a $15 PAIR of running socks... yes only ONE PAIR for $15!! Keep in mind though, that some of those socks are priced up to OVER $30! Jeeze, these better be some impressive socks then... they are supposed to wisk away sweat, provide more cushioning, and help prevent blisters.

Now, I rarely get blisters in the first place, and the Asics already provide tons of cushioning... I'm more interested in doing a "sweat test"

I'll let ya know tomorrow when I get back from the gym how they worked!

...

and if any one is looking for a great gift for a health nut or fitness buff, or just an awesome way to spoil themselves... I HIGHLY reccommend these vitamins:

http://www.strivepn.com/products/nutritional-support/pro-vit/

I've been using them for a week now, and I gotta tell you how much I LOVE them! They make me feel so good and energetic, however they do make you pee flourescent yellow/green for a while!! ahahaha, that's those vitamin B's for ya!

if you got $50-70 to spend (depending if you are a gold card member or not) I suggest you pick yourself up a pack... at GNC baby!

...

I've only tried using the Gaspari SuperPump last week, on a VERY empty stomach, and it made me feel really naucous. So I havent tried it since.. but Ill test it out tomorrow after I've eaten something first, and then we shall see if it's as good as it claims to be. (it has great reviews from multiple sources, and many indepent lab testings to prove it's effectiveness) so im gonna give it another shot!

wow, loving my new job... I never knew a job could be so un-stessful!! It's super slack, although I love learning what everything is, and what it does

My "manager" knows his stuff.. it's crazy, he could pick up a supplement with a list of 50 ingredients and tell you what EVERYTHING is and what is does in the body... it's insane. I'm learning tons!!

Today I spend $150 (thats WITH the discount) on some very advanced vitamin packs, Superfats, and Gaspari Superpump

The vitamins are CRAZY, they give me TONS of energy... but not like "jittery" energy Im just so insanely alert and focused right now, and have been for the last 3 hours!!

The Superpump is a mixture of creatine and amino acids to take before a workout to improve endurance and increase lean muscle mass, and also helps improve performance... it has great reviews, so Im so excited to try it!!

blah Im gonna get RIPPED!! I can't wait =)

Job >> Jobs

I'm sooo excited, I was offered a job at GNC.. the manager was impressed that I knew what I was talking about when it comes to nutrition and fitness, and asked if I wanted a job!!

I may not know everything... but I'm willing to learn!!

I start this Monday... gah I'd never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait for the weekend to be over!! All I have to do is suffer through the next two crazy days at my other job. UFC night tomorrow, then the Rider game on Sunday = BUSY BUSY BUSY! Hopefully I make some good money out of this, cause basically my entire weekend will be spent taking orders and complying to people's requests.

I gotta admit, I'm excited to work at GNC more so because it's NOT going to be crazy stressful like waitressing is... no stupid unpredictable hours, no rude customers, no running around for 8-10 hours at a time without a break!

Although the money is good, I don't appreciate the toll those late nights and heightened stress levels takes on my body, mentality and social life... I'm lucky to see my boyfriend 2 times a week. It's impossible to plan things around work, because without set hours I never know when i'll get off.

I'm still gonna keep my job at the bar, but cut my shifts back to 2-3 a week. (I like the quick money) but now my Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays will be spent doing what I do best... Learning about fitness and nutrition!!! I don't think I've ever been more excited to STUDY!! Oh man I'm gonna be reading EVERY label on EVERY supplement, protein, vitamin..etc. The majority of that stuff I don't need, and neither does most people... but I'm ever so curious as to how it all works and effects your body!

OH OH OH and 50% discount!! Need I say more? Hahaha!

With Christmas just over a month away, this could not of come at a better time!
