Dont feel great today, I have never had a flu shot that I know of and I just got one for the first time yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately I think I am having a wierd reaction (I'm not allergic to eggs but I also have not eaten them in years). Today Ive had a slight cough, muscle aches, and have felt really dizzy when Ihad to stand up for more that 15 min which never happens to me. I hardly ever get sick, and i was feeling perfectly fine before. I would not have even gotten the shot but the hospital is requiring that and possibly the H1N1 vaccine also. Im hoping these symptoms go away and i dont start comming down with something. I'd have to sue someone or at least get in a few good punches....
Sometimes if you have never had a flu shot or it has been a while, you do get a little bit of the flu while your body adjusts to the vaccination. When you get a vaccine it injects the flu virus into your body with most of it's harm removed so that your bodies antibodies can attack it, then when you get the REAL flu your body will know what it is and how to kill it! |
