Smile

Posted a listing looking for violins and violas for a string quartet in the NO area.

Hope some people bite. I want to put together a website for it. And lots of weddings happen out here. How cool would that be?

I wish you were in Chicago! I play the viola and recently stopped playing in an orchestra I was involved in.  I'm probably not good enough to be in a quartet, but that sounds like a blast! Good luck on your search Tongue out

HAHAHAHAHHA @ watergirl - that's a long time to not know what you've been playing.

I pray you get an overflow of bites Taryn! You could do so much with that (weddings, banquets, etc.). Totally coolCool

Wow. They must be tone deaf, cause the viola is in the alto cleft, and violin is in treble. And the strings are different. If they were playing violin muic, they were off by about half an octave with every note. Lmao. They will not be invited to play with me. Laughing

do not forget to advertise at churches, civic organizations, and non-profits. We've used the same harpist for our annual fundraiser. My daughter has played her oboe either solo or in small ensembles for a variety of churches and civic organization do's. If you got a job in Houston, I'd have an oboist for you!
