So after a few weeks of searching for a place, my friend found a condo we all really like. It is only 1200 a month, so 400 for each of us (me, current roommate and a friend) 2 rooms upstairs, one downstairs. All with a full bath, so no sharing. A big kitchen, and a fireplace in the living room. The master room has a big tub, a fireplace in the room, a balcony and two closets (one for shoes) This is awesome to me, cause I don't really have one. My stupid apartment has a laundry room where mine should be, while my room mate has a walk in. 
I think I am going to go for the masters. It is huge.
The carpet is brand new...so there is a $350 pet deposit. It is a little farther from work than my old job, but it is right across from the mall and some restaurants and just a minute or two from the freeway.
Also, I am down to 148.8 as of today :) I am only 8.8 lbs away.
3 mile walk, and gym today. We are still seeing some of the winds from the left wall of TS Ida, so it is a little strong, but should be good later today. No rain right now though.
Wow, the condo sounds awesome! $400 each isn't bad at all if you can all afford that. I hope you get the master bedroom if you guys get it, sounds amazing! I could use a walk in closet myself, I do have 2 closets in my room though so that works now that they are both mine Yeah for being 148.8, you are so close to your goal! Keep up the good work! |
Ahh jealous! It sounds like such a great place. Separate baths, fireplaces, balcony, big closets?!? I hope it works out for you! Is the pet deposit refundable? It may be a little farther from work but you won't be there much longer anyway. :) |

omg I cannot believe how awesome that place sounds! In Boston that would easily be $3000+ a month....I need to move! If you got the shafted room in the last apt I think it would be reasonable to ask your roommate if you could have the one w/closet space this time. I hope it works for you! Do you walk to work? The extra distance will only help with your goals :) Congrats on the continued loss! |

I love fireplaces too, wish I had one, probably better that I don't though b/c of Troy.
