Entry Yay! Last entry for today, I promise!!!

I got a reply from another violinist (that makes 2!) I would just need a viola player if they both worked out. But even with 2 violins, we could get a lot done. The second was from a guy. Geeze this was fast. Iwonder if I will have to audition people.lol. But I would rather have 3 or 4 replies in case 2 decide not to do it. This guy seems pretty cool, and has quartet experience.

Also a guy responded who does music projects and needs a cellist for some versatile music. He has recorded a CD already. He also knows other musicians.

I am so proud of me for stepping out. This could equal lots of fun, and some $$$ on the side. I think I may be nervous @ first.... like will they think I'm any good? Will we get gigs?, etc. ....but I love my cello sooooo much. When my $2700 one got stolen in Katrina, it was the ONLY thing I lost that I truly missed. I scrimped my money together to buy my current one. I feel a hole in my life when I don't play for too long. Especially if I see or hear another cello.

I guess I just feel like I have a ways to go to get to where I wanna be...the next Yo-Yo Ma. Smile

Laughing Thanks guys. Im more excited than Ihave been in months I think. I am too passionate of a person, too gifted to just file papers all day and then go to the gym and sleep. Blah. Not the life for me.

Life seems to be taking a turn around the right corner for you again and I couldn't be happier for you.  Like the saying says, "Good things happen to those who wait"  your patience and trust in GOD is starting to show.

Yea!!!!

What sort of evil person steals a person's instrument? I am so glad you were able to replace it.

I agree with Jannid, that person did have to be evil to steal your cello.  I am so happy you got a new one and continue to play!  Best of luck with your new music friends!
