my burn rate is anyware from 3500 to 4500 depending on what site or methodolagy that is used. ( 315 lbs 6ft agee 44)
I will exercise 5 to 6 days a week 15 minutes on the treadmill, 15 minutes on elip. and 15 minutes of circut lifting. My goal is to burn 500 calories in 45 to 55 minutes in the gym. I do put much stock in the percentage of fat burned versus mucsel a calorie is a a calorie is a calorie.
I do not think in terms of diet, I think in terms of better eating. I try to eat 65-75% of my calaories by lunch. I eat oatmeal for breakfast, snack then a lunch at noon, another snack in the afternoon and then something simple as a sandwhich for dinner, or a bowl of cereal.
My challenge will be to keep my BMR high as I lose this weight,
I can tell you that I have given up Coke and I can already tell the difference in my energy level. I was drinking probably about 100 0z a day of coke.
I also work on the 12 floor of my building, I take the stairs at least once a day, if in the afternoon I feel a little sleepy, I go downstairs and walk up. It does wonders for my energy level the rest of the afternoon
