I dont understand all this. I have no idea anymore where I am supposed to be at with any of my levels. Calories, fat grams, carbs, this, that and the other......Every website says something different. Every person tells you something different. All I know is this Is really getting to me. I am so ready to give up. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.............
Hey Christie, don't give up! What i'm doing right now, because the amount of info as well, is just watching the calorie meters. I put in all my info, i stay within my calories, and i calculate my deficiets for the day. My trend is a slow one primarily because it's been hard for me to find the time to get to the gym because of work, but it's been trending down. I know there's a science (afterall i am a scientist) to all of this, but my basic goal is eat better, make better choices, and i'm not depriving myself of EVERYTHING all the time, just some things some of the time. Just by logging everything you'll notice yourself making better choices. Unless it's your job, you'll drive yourself nuts creating the PERFECT nutritional profile, and just when you get it down pat, it'll change with your body. So keep within your calories, go for a walk, and then relax, it WILL happen!

I know I get confused and discouraged at times also. I'm just trying to keep a 500 calorie deficit. I will try it for a month and see. Just try to do things that are healthy. Don't let all the different information get you down. I hope you have a better day! |
Don't give up! You'll be sorry if you do. I know it's difficult and frustrating, but you'll get through it. I have plateaued before, and one that really helps me is having a cheat day. I might weigh more on the scale for the next day or two, but within a few days I'll drop several pounds overnight! Your body has probably gotten used to getting fewer calories, so it's holding on to what it has in case you start getting even fewer calories. Eating extra sometimes helps to mix things up. Don't give up!! |
How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
