So... weight loss is weird. I have been diligently counting calories since like Feb 11 or 12 and it is WEIRD... I have been toying with trying to find the perfect balance of super healthy food and still getting to eat the foods I love once in a while... and I have learned some things about food and weight and all that good stuff.
I have been working out pretty much everyday, I usually do 45 minutes on the bike and 15 to 20 minutes on the treadmill.. If I have the energy.. or drive. So I end up burning 400 - 500 calories a workout.
I've also been eating RIDICULOUSLY good. Usually between 1500 - 1800 calories a day, except one day it was like 2100+ and I ended up gaining 1.5 lbs so that was definitely a lesson. Eating out is really hard to do if you're not splurging.. and if you're starving... my new best friends are oranges, turkey - ground and deli and organic granola.
So bottom line is since February 12, I am down 4 lbs! I am pretty excited about it.. It's not much yet, but I am so motivated to actually lose weight I can't wait to see that number go down!
Damn!!! Ya weight loss is weird. It like sucks trying to do everything right sometimes but then you see the number go down on the scale and it's like,"Oh, all that hard work is kind of worth it!" haha

aawwwwww I so jealous!!!!!!!!!! I am going to put on a ton of lotion next time I am around her and force her to love me! |
