Today I joined calorie counter. I have tried to lose weight before and I have suceeded to a point. It's time to have the thin 22 year old body that I want. My previous attempts: My most successful attempt was a few months before my 21st birthday. I bought a tiny little red dress, hung it up on my closet, and worked my butt off. I ate well, worked out daily at the gym, as well as walked my dog for at least 45 mintues a day. I still was only from 155 down to 145. I know I gained muscle but I was not satisfied. After my 21st birthday I started slacking off. I worked out less and didn't watch what I ate as much. I didn't gain it all back but definitely slipped. Since then I have graduated college and gotten an office job. I joined a gym absolutely obsessed with the idea of running at least 3 miles in two months. I would say I'm doing pretty well so far. I'm on a running plan and today I up how much I run and I can't wait. My problem with losing weight is I love sweet foods and I eat when I'm bored or because I feel like its time. When it is 5oclock I think work is over and its dinner time. I don't wait to be hungry or think about what portion I should eat to match my hunger. I don't have a solid strategy yet but I think counting my calories to a science will help. I will work out about 4 or 5 times a week as always and I feel that adding this will help me start to shed the pounds.
This blog is mainly for me but any advice is more than welcomed!
