Todays Art of the Season ~ November.  The American Impressionists

Autumn Sunlight ~ Theodore Robinson, 1888

I accomplished almost nothing yesterday.  We didn't get to the police station because half the people going are sick.  I did do one load of wash but it's not folded because I got tired.  However, I did cook myself a nice dinner.  I feel so much better if I have a balanced meal in the evening.  Today is a new day and I'll try to get more done.

Plan for today:  Write up a rough draft of a petition to be presented to the office, police or whoever.  How do I get rooked into doing these things?  Make some phone calls, clean the kitchen, fold the laundry.

Menu for today:  breakfast - oatmeal with milk.  Lunch - soup and salad.  Snack - tangerine.  Supper - poached salmon with dijon sauce, acorn squash, brown rice, green salad.  Snack - celery with farmer cheese.

It's cold, 38 F, 3 C, and sunny this morning.  Depending on who you listen to, it will be sunny or rainy this afternoon.  It is, however, expected to warm up a bit.  I'm feeling shut in and need to get out.  Maybe I'll take a little ride later.

Today:  Rule of the day - Cheer Up!  How bad can it be?  Kiss

Thanks for the note, I think I'll go over to their office and see them face to face. I should send my son, the doctors office is in the hospital and he is the technology Administor at the hospital - Yes! i'm pulling rank!

A ride to see the beautiful trees would be nice. I did that last week or go sit at the park. They are decorating out park at the river walk for xmas. I might go down there and sit and look at the river and boats.

As for the crazy neighbor, I dont' know why your office can't do something with a petion. they should know the police are there and just complaints from people should be enough but documents always works best I guess. There is someone that is taking care of things for this woman.

Have a restful day. hugs

because you are a wonderful, involved, and intelligent! And because you are not content to just allow things to happen around you.

Did you say 38? Dress warmly and keep your hands washed. Don't want you joining your friends in illness.

LOVE the painting today :)

Good luck with the petition. I know you'll do a great job with it.

It was that cold up here today too. I just got back from a lunch run and it was only 49*F out there - with the wind chill it felt like 46*F. Chilly. Yuck!

Still no news on the job.  Don't know what is going on.  The weather here is chilly but sunshiny.  Hoping you all are able to get that report filed.

Take care and God Bless.

Wonderful painting. It captures the quality of light and colors of fall.

Had to laugh at your "How do I get rooked into doing these things?" I suspect you've got a strong sense of responsibility, and you're probably the only one willing to move past paying something lip service to take action. "If you don't like something, change it!"
