Entry I Don't Heart Plateaus
Nov 06 2009 10:11

i wanna stop weighing myself. the scale hasn't moved in 2 or 3 weeks, and it's driving me bonkers. i'm reliving winter '08 and it's causing me nothing but stress. i want to stop weighing but i can't, b/c i'm paying for weight watchers. i stopped eating most of those lean cuisines and smart ones and tried to go back to whole foods, but since i've done that my weight's been for crap.

of course, that's only one factor. there's so much crap that i've changed, that i can't pinpoint what i need to fix. this is effing maddening!! i can NOT spend the next 4 months at 182 pounds. i should be done by then! god, why does losing weight have to take so damn long, and use up so much of your mental, physical, and emotional energy? i see why people quit; keeping this up is just too hard. i don't know, maybe i just want this too much.

i wish i could just find the right person to get advice from. physical trainers ignore the food side, and nutritionists avoid the exercise side. doctors are idiots and just spit out public health information. yeah, i know all that, but what about my body? it has quirks that don't let me simply follow eat less, move more. i'm a real person, not a test case.

Heh. I don't heart plateaus either. If you ever do identify that person in the last paragraph, you'd best share! LOL I feel like I am in that same boat....

I had one too, back in September. I was stuck @ 155. Had to come up with a new plan to really shake stuff up. Increased my physical acticity, lifted more weigths, ate different...its coming off just so slowlllllyyyyy.

I don't heart them either... This one has been going on for way longer than I will admit to and has actually gone in the wrong direction on more than one occasion.  I just need to focus and get really serious.
