On October 5th I decided I had had enough and decided to try to cut out a few bad eating and drinking habits. When I first was evaluating how I would lose weight I thought my portions were okay and that I just needed to cut out all the calories I was drinking. I was drinking way too many calories-- DD Iced coffee with caramel, cream and sugar; and my vice of all vices--Pepsi.
A month into my new way of eating and I realize that what I thought was a portion was almost double. I have given up the high calorie coffees and allow myself one Pepsi every other day. With counting calories, I have lost 16lbs of the 80 I hope to lose.
My next step once I plateau is to start exercising to boost my weight loss. It is amazing how fast this month and those first 16lbs have gone away.
