ONE WEEK DOWN

Well, the first week is out of the way. I haven't changed my exercise much, but obviously, I was eating too much. I have lost three pounds this week with no change other than the logging of food and paying attention to what I am eating. My biggest challenge is to eat healthy at night and on the weekends. I totally bombed on Sunday, however, I didn't exceed my expenditure by too much. Just ate the wrong foods.

My goal for this week:

1) Watch what I eat at night.

2) Stay on top of what I eat over the weekend.

I am going to meet this goal by:

a) preparing a healthy snack in the morning to eat right before I go home. Hopefully, this will keep me from snacking until dinner time.

b) Keep myself so occupied over the weekend that I will not think of snacking and STOP snacking off of my children's plates. (terrible, their food always looks so tempting after I've eaten mine.) Bad habit. Got to knock it!

Did I mention how wonderful my husband is? He has been taking the kids to the sitter in the mornings for me (2-3 times a week). Which means I get in an extra 20-30 minutes at the gym before work. Even better than that, it means that I can swim for an hour, instead of just doing the machines.

First Day Back

Today is my first day back at CC. I have started back at the gym about 3 weeks ago and I have not made any progress. I am hoping that by joining Monday weigh ins I will be more accountable for where I am at.

The first day back has gone very well. I am eating right and I am currently trying to not give into the midday snack of junk food. I am going for a south beach protein bar. This shouldn't sabbatoge me to bad and hopefully keep me full until dinner time.
