So, the weekend was a full blown pig out... Friday night was Olive garden (and to my defense - however small - It was my ONLY meal of the day and I spent the entire day cleaning and doing laundry.  I ate my entire salad, with half the little container of dressing FIRST),  the zuppa toscana (YUMMYNESS) and about a quarter of my shrimp caprese.  The major damage was AFTER dinner when I went for mom's halloween candy dish... *SIGH*

Saturday I had my remaining olive garden entree for lunch (no breakfast besides more CANDY) and for dinner we had Thai food.  I ate some shrimp cargot appetizer as per the menu: baked shrimp in our special Thai spicy herbs, served with garlic bread and sweet basil leaves. Then I had basil leaves - Stir fired chicken with sweet basil leaves, crushed garlic, mushrooms, hot pepper and bell pepper in a light spicy sauce with rice... YUMMY... AND more candy... Had I laid off the candy I would have probably been ok - but the kids weren't out in force as in years past, so mom had LOTS of it left. *SIGH*

Yesterday, I had a hankering for some CAKE from the cake lady at church so I got cupcakes (got three, ate only one) and a butter cookie.  I then came home and cooked dinner which consisted of Greens, cornbread, macaroni & cheese (the boxed kind which is WAY safer than my homemade stuff - gotta save that for thanksgiving) and FRIED PORK CHOPS... *SIGH*  Hubby had a taste for them and I had zero resistance since TTOM decided to show up a whole week EARLY.  Throw in a skinny cow for dessert (as if it made a difference after my all day pig out).  At least I am over the candy - the thought of eating it made me near physically ill last night.

So, today I am back at it.  This morning I had my oatmeal for breakfast and a container of yogurt.  Lunch will be the rest of my Thai food from Saturday - I must not have eaten very much of it at all cause there was practically a full container left.  Dinner will be leftovers, although I will avoid the pork chops like the plague and the little people killed all the macaroni & cheese *THANKFULLY*.  I will be at the gym for the first time in over a week today, and I am excited about getting there and running - after my hour of racquetball... I will still have the stamina for it I am sure.

Enjoy your day everyone!
