Entry Today is easier than yesterday...

Curbing my eat fest yesterday was more difficult than I thought it would be.  I did really well for breakfast with oatmeal, yogurt and coffee.  Lunch was my leftover thai which I don't think is horrible calorie wise, but it seemed like a lot of food when I was eating it.  After lunch was where the problems hit.  I couldn't seem to talk my brain out of the fact that my tummy insisted that it needed food.  So I ate my afternoon snack not long after my lunch - a string cheese... Then I had a small bag of raisinettes out of the vending machine.  I got home and shut the munchy machine off long enough to get thru dinner - leftovers of my pork chop and greens/cornbread.  I then proceeded to eat 3 fun sized snacks, three musketeers, 100KGrand bar and a kit kat.

I wanted to devour more crap but I forced myself to bed.  *SIGH*

Today's breakfast was a duplicate of yesterday's.  I had beef barley soup for lunch with a medium sized baked potato (one of the restaurants in my building offer that as a $3 lunch special) and my plan for dinner isn't solidified yet, but I have a taste for a panini (which i can make at home).  Maybe mix in a  salad for some diversity of items...

This has to get easier soon..

I sent out my invite for Thanksgiving dinner at my house - my family is so large that we have to trade off holidays so that no one person gets burned out... but it seems that I am either always hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas.  My mom always has a summer holiday (either the 4th or Labor Day) because she has the pool and the rest of the family pretty much dives in whenever the urge hits.  It is always a potluck because cooking a meal of that size for 30+ people is NOT OK. So now I must schedule my weekends to ensure the house is in order...  At least the invite is one less thing to do!

Happy Tuesday All!
