 Carpet Stain

Well, lets start out kinda why this cartoon is in here. I can probably sum it all up in one simple sentence..... Protein Shakes do not mix well with carpets. Yep, I thought I could juggle my work stuff, some trash and a protein shake and bring it to the trash can outside. Nope. Couldn't even get out the door without me dropping the shake and having it BOUNCE all over the rug. Good start to the morning yes?

Anyways, yesterday was the blissful off day of the week from p90x (Every monday). I did go for a short 30 minute run, but the true meaning behind this was because today was the chosen "cheat" day of the month. The tasty little pepperoni's on top of cheese, sauce and a giant circle of dough was delicious. I read on someones blog who recently did very well on p90x, that one of his rules was, when you occasionally go off your diet (as long as it isn't much) make sure it is WORTH it. Don't feel guilty by eating something stupid, such as for me pigging out on candy or chips. Make sure you are going to LOVE what you are cheating with. This definitely would be pizza and wings. Surprisingly I did stick within my calorie limit for the day, which surprised me, but still happy about that.

Today is legs and back day. One of the more disliked workouts for me. I'm not too good with pushups or pullups, which legs and back has TONS of. I can handle 1 maybe 2 pullups before I need the assistance of my little assistant...the chair. Pushups well, by the end of the workout I am huffing and puffing doing pushups on my knees. Not that its a bad thing to really feel the workout, but still. Hopefully by the end of the 90 day program I can manage to not be collapsed by muscle fatigue as the people on the dvds practically dance as they blow through pushups and pullups.

Well, that's enough for today, got to work late since I needed to scrape my protein shake off the rug for a while.
