Entry I think I'm ready for Thanksgiving dinner.

Really. And not from a conquer it diet kind of standpoint either. More of a conquer it because I want to kill something huge and eat it because I'm on my period. I've also noticed that before I start, people become horrible drivers. I mean just awful. My gift was dropped off this afternoon and this morning while I was on the road no drivers were aware that for at least the last forty years cars have been CUSTOM made with turning indicators. Now I know this is a tough thing, a lot of people get caught up with their very important phone calls or touching up the spackle on their faces... and can't think to possibly DRIVE while they are driving... but shoot... don't cut me off!!!

I could care less if you drove backwards with your eyes closed... just use your signals... and do it on the correct side of the road.

Please!

So it comes down to me being irritable, and then hungry, then irritable because I'm hungry and watching the jerk who just cut me off, pull out a Big Mac and devour it.

Please, insert Thanksgiving dinner here. My mouth. Just want something cranberry-y, Turkey-y, potato-y, corn bread-y, and gravy-y, right now. Screw desert... I don't have time for child's play... I want food.

Now that I've given a clear example of why I'm 165 lbs...

you can feel free to comment this.

Love hungry, crabby, Megan

I know exactly how you feel!!  I live in the most densely populated county in Florida with the worst drivers from all 50 states!! LOL!  And the little gift that mother nature bestows on us once a month does not help with my mood or my diet!!  Bring on Thanksgiving!! :)

LOL -- I spend half my time yelling out to other drivers that they paid for the damn turn signals, seems a waste NOT TO USE THEM!?!?!?!  And Maryland is one of the worst states I've driven in.

I am hoping to make it Thanksgiving without putting on any weight...

Thanks for the refreshing reply to my earlier post! I appreciate it and could use a support system. My first day of dieting wasn't the greatest but definitely a learning experience. The calorie counter has me set up to eat 1700 calories a day. Well, let's just say I ate WAY more than 1700 calories. So, with this realization, I can only learn and conquer the cravings. I'll do better tomorrow. That's all I can do. Now...to reply to your entry...

I definitely know the feeling of eating out of anger. I'm certainly the "emotional eater." I'm sure that's how I've gotten to the weight that I am today. I think instead of going to cigarettes as a nicotine addict would...I just head for the little debbie cakes. They just taste so much better with a side of anger or tears...haha. Anyway, just remember YOU control your emotions and you also control the food that you eat. So as you’re passing the guy who cut you off and who is eating a big mac, just smile and wave! No need to waste calories over a guy who has horrible driving skills and bad eating habits! You’re way above that! J
